    Hi Daniel and friends,

You have created a great plugin! Serves all the purpose nicely.
I wonder is there any way through which I can separate the “New Entry” and “GuestBook Entries List” in different pages.

I wish to create two pages as below
    1. My GuestBook
    – user can view the guestbook entries.
    – should display a link “Post your suggestions”; this link should open the page-2.
    2. Should display the guestbook entry form.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Dani

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for the Questbook.

I do have the same question as Rashmirathi. The entry-form, in my opinion, is to dominant. In my case 90% of the visitors of the site just want to read other people experiences. Now they first have to scroll down (on small screen like a laptop), they don’t even see written experiences only the entry form, before they can start reading.

I’m not able to fix this like Rashmirathi can. In my case just a link (“add entry”) in top of the list to the entry-form page would be perfect. Maybe you can take this option as a setting in a next version, or do you have another sollution? Thanks again!

    Hi Daan

There is an option to move the form on the bottom of page: “DMSGuestbook -> Guestbook settings -> Basic -> Guestbook form position:”

Define your own link text: “DMSGuestbook -> Guestbook settings -> Basic -> Link text:”

    Greetings,
    Dani

    Dani, thanks for your help!

Daniel, how can I add a title above the entry form? I cannot find where to do that. I would like to add a phrase something like: “Please leave your reaction:” followed by the name, email, website, message field, etc.

    Dear Daan

Though Dani should be the best person to answer you here, I am unable to find such configuration property.
Hence, my lame solution would be to modify the php file itself with the changes you are looking for.

If you know a bit about WP, this shouldn’t be big for you, Please locate dmsguestbook.php file under admin section.
Plugins -> Editor -> Select “DMSGuestbook” from the dropdown to open up the files for the plugin.

Though, I am again saying, Dani would be the best person to tell you of any other better solution.

    Thanks
