• Just installed DM Albums and was amazed at its simplicity. Thanks for the great written instructions.

No problems using photos residing on the same server as WordPress. I’m trying to pull in photos from a Facebook album and am getting very odd results.

I’m using the URL Facebook generates for public access to the album, but DM Albums is pulling in an entirely different set of files. It appears it is grabbing images from my current website.

If I paste the Facebook URL directly into the browser, the proper album images display. When I use it along with the DM album html coding, it goes somewhere else entirely.

    Any ideas?

  • Thanks for writing.

Currently, DM Albums doesn’t support remote images since it processes,
resizes, and sharpens images when displaying them. Supporting remote
images is something I’ve always wanted to support, but have not been able
to overcome the performance hit of needing to download the images on the
remote server onto the local server for processing. I’ll keep working the
issue, though, and would welcome any advice or suggestions that anyone has.
