[Plugin: Disqus Comment System] Something Wrong?

    Anyone having same problem?

    Hi Nick,

    This is Giannii from Disqus. Our service itself hasn’t been experiencing any issues with Google or Facebook logins. You can always check our service status at https://status.disqus.com. I have a couple questions that will help us reproduce what you’ve experiencing.

    – What browser and version are you using?
    – What happens after you authenticate?
    – Do you get an error message? If so can you post the error number?
    – Are these profiles merged with your Disqus account? If so you can revoke access and re-add them under Edit Profile and Services.

    Okay – does not seem to be browser specific. I’ve testing in Safari and FF. Also many people have written me to complain about it from all sorts of browsers.

    I never get to the point of allowing authentication. If I log into facebook manually and come back I still get the error.

    The error is non-specific. It just says “An error occurred. Please try again later.”

    What do you mean by “profiles merged with Disqus account”? The facebook profiles? I don’t think so – I created a fake facebook profile that has never been used before to test this and I still get the same problems.
