  • Hi Rob,

Have you tried going through our CSS troubleshooting at https://docs.disqus.com/help/69/?

We also have a doc for one fairly common IE-specific issue at https://docs.disqus.com/help/75/ “Why is my page so wide in Internet Explorer?” in case that’s the issue you’re experiencing.

If that second doc isn’t the issue you’re seeing and none of CSS fixes in the first doc help would you kindly include a link to an affected page? We’d be happy to take look then.

    Thanks,
    Tyler

    Hi Tyler,

    thanks, great support here ??

It’s not the 75 issue; also, none of the fixes in 69 do the trick.

    The broken page is here:

and here’s a screenshot how it looks (broken):

    Thanks

    Hi Rob,

I’m unable to reproduce that in IE8. Here’s a screenshot of what I see: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/15229959/Screenshots/69kf4j4fo_42.png —?note however that ~10 errors popped-up for which I had to click “OK” before the page would finish loading (some were related to Cufon, others were more ambiguous).

This may be caused by a conflict with your current theme or a plugin. You can test this by temporarily reverting to the default WordPress theme and, if that doesn’t fix this, disabling all plugins except Disqus. (These are not permanent recommendations; they are simply to help isolate the issue.)

Should the issue persist, kindly send us your debug info found under Advanced Options in the Disqus plugin (you can either post it here or email the address next to the setting if you’d like to keep the information private).

Let us know what you find,
    Tyler
