The MetaSlider plugin disappeared from my web site within the last two weeks.

The MetaSlider Pro is still there, but it doesn’t work because MetaSlider is now gone.

I tried to reinstall the plugin, but it keeps giving me this error message:

“Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”

Could you please tell me how to get it back on my site?

  • Hi @mantleclinic, in order to reinstall you should access to your website folder and delete the plugin folder (which is in /wp-content/plugins/ml-slider). That action only will delete the plugin files and you will be able to reinstall it.
    Thanks

    Hi @mantleclinic,

You should be able to do as @vitralsolutions said and delete the folder inside your plugins directory. It wont affect any existing slideshows as those are stored in the database and media library. Then you should be able to install the plugin again.

    Hi @mantleclinic,

I’ll mark this as resolved since we didn’t hear back from you, but please open a new issue if you have any more problems. Have a good weekend!
