    Greetings,

First; you have the best free WordPress zoom plugin. There is one alternative, but so few users have downloaded it there is no content in the support forum and isn’t enough to hold hopes for future updates.

ISSUE: Activating the Plugin Disables the Visual/Text Editor. The Box is visible, the ability to enter text/shortcut options are not.

I have a Multisite, the error exists when activated network wide or only activated for a single site. The problem exists on Pages and Posts. I’m an advanced user, the theme is solid.

    The potential for plugin conflict is likely. Plugins it may be conflicting with activated on the site could be;

    Contact Form 7
    Jetpack
    MyCred
    NextGen Gallery
    Share Buttons by AddToAny
    Shortcodes Ultimate
    Super Socializer
    TinyMCE Advanced

These are plugins that appear in the Admin Editor Page. Unfortunately – all of these plugins outweigh necessity over WP Image Zoooom, and I simply don’t have time to create a new site to test functionality without these plugins network activated.

Any testing or input you can provide would be much appreciated. I would really like to use this plugin. Thank you.

    Hi there,

I’m glad you think this is a good plugin.

I would like you to test something: deactivate the WP Image Zoooom plugin and see if the problem persist, then deactivate the NextGen Gallery.

On my computer the Visual/Text Editor gets disabled by the NextGen Gallery, regardless of WP Image Zoooom being activated or not.

Please let me know if this fixes your problem or not.

    Best regards

Interesting, the conflict may exist there.

I isolated WP Image Zoooom by deactivating it and that fixed the editor (before the original post) – NextGen remained activated. Unfortunately, out of all the plugins, this gallery plugin is by far the least expendable having 30k images built into it’s structure.

Do you believe that’s the culprit in this scenario?

I would suggest you make a fresh WordPress install on your computer, then start slowly adding the theme and the plugins. If indeed my plugin is causing the problem, please report back, as I am interesting to solve any bugs out there.

    Nah, I’ll just go without.

I tried to make it clear that your plugin is conflicting with another – provided a list of those plugins – and when your plugin is deactivated the editor returns.

Either the plugin works while activated — or it does not. The other plugins take priority, a zooming feature being superfluous — it should simply work. *shrug*

I’d wager I’m not the only user who encounters this issue. Use the info I provided to get it fixed if you want, I’ll work with an alternative.
