Plugin disables favicon on live site. Bug?

When I install the plugin and set in my preloader for some reason it causes my favicon to default back to my webhost’s favicon on the live site. The favicon displays perfectly on my dashboard and it is only on my live site. I tried deactivating the plugin and my favicon returned but as soon as I activated it again the same thing happened. Not sure if it is not compatible with my version of WP or if it is not compatible with the theme I am using.

I am using the Entrada theme by Waituk on WP 4.8.
