[Plugin: Digg Digg] Facebook Share Button Disappeared Suddenly

Same has happened on two of our sites. One is a Manual Placement and the other is a Normal Display.

I don’t think it is Digg Digg, because I am also using a bar at the bottom on my site and the Fb share went all funny too. I think it is Facebook.

Sure, and Facebook’s own plugin has been wonky for the past week.

Ultimately, though, it’s the plugin developer’s responsibility to ensure that it works. (Free vs. paid support is a conversation for another day ?? ).

Sometimes it’s a thankless job.

Well, Facebook is famous (or infamous) for doing what they want regardless of what users think about it. I don’t see them either getting in contact with developers to tell them about their latest change.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve also had a load of trouble with Facebook period in the last few days. It has to be them.

Yep, same here – manually placed Facebook icon has disappered. Any update??

It looks like Facebook has removed the Share Button completely in favour of the like/send button which is why the button is no longer displaying.

Why is this marked as resolved? What is the resolution?

It’s working for me–off and on. It’s a Facebook thing. As far as I know, they have no intentions of scrapping the Share button. They have tweaked the size of it though. I think those having trouble will just have to wait it out. It’s not Digg Digg.
