• Update:

This review is for the PDF extension for Sliced Invoices.

The PDF extension was not formatting the output very well. I contacted support who said that they identified the conflict and that it was he Yoast plugin. I deactivated the Yoast plugin and this did not correct the problem.

3 Days later they had not replied, so I contacted them again to see if they could help figure it out.

5 days later, they get back to me and say they will look at it.

9 days later I have to check in again to see if they are going to look at it, since I haven’t heard anything.

11 days later they get back to me and say they haven’t gotten to it yet, but hope to follow up soon.

20 days later I still have not heard back so I send a note to ask if they can speed it up or give me a refund.

    Refund issued that same day

I really wished we could have worked it out, because I believed the plugin was really great, just some formatting issues needed to be worked out.

Your review is dishonest since we did reply to your ticket within 24 hours of when you opened it, and had multiple exchanges of messages with you after that. You said you had made custom modifications to your template and it wasn’t coming out right — this is not our fault. We do not provide custom coding services, and we are not responsible for changes you make to the code yourself. (All of this is stated on our Support Policies page.)

We do try to offer advice and guidance when we can, not because we have to, but just because we try to be nice… however in this case we weren’t able to have a developer look at your code within the timeframe you expected, apparently. You asked for refund, and we gave you the refund promptly.

Why would you leave a review on the free version of Sliced Invoices saying the “plugin did not work”, when your issue was only regarding the paid PDF extension, and specifically the template which you modified yourself? It seems to me everything was working correctly until you started making changes. You shouldn’t try to deceive people into thinking there is some bigger problem which doesn’t exist.

I’m not deceiving people. Your support is poor. Of all of the plugin developers I’ve contacted, you guys are extremely poor with your responses. Just very very slow.

But when I want a refund or leave a review, your response is very quick.
