First of all, thank you in advance for any help and sorry for my English.

After installing the plugin, my site was broken and showed a leakage characters warning, when visiting the site post had disappeared and showed this in the header: “Warning: preg_replace_callback(): Compilation failed: unmatched parentheses at offset 7 in /home/doggeand/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/wpml_func.php on line 218”.
After disable and remove the plugin everything back to “normal”, but the default wordpress and bbPress smilies disappeared and no longer displayed. Is there any way to fix my installation and redisplay the default smilies?

    My site: https://doggeando.com
    Wordpress: 4.4.1
    Bbpress: 2.5.8

Which plugin version do you use?

Yep, this happened to me this morning. Installed this plugin, had load of errors so disabled and my default smilies have gone!
I’m using the latest WP and the this plugin v 3.6

How to get my default smilies back please?

Please try to set use_smilies in the table wp_options to 1 using PHPMyAdmin. Can you post the errors which were shown?

Thank you. I checked the db and indeed the use_smilies option was set to 0. Changed to 1 and they are back.

I’ll try again and see what errors I get and post them here.

    thanks again for the reply.

I just saw the answer to my question, just say I solved it by reinstalling wordpress from my administration panel, if anyone can serve.
