[Plugin: Diamond MultiSite Widgets] Would be great to have features

    Hi, I am using Diamond Multisite Widgets on my blogging platform at https://popo.lt and this plugin seems to be great. But after some time I already have some questions about improvement.

    These improvements (I hope) would be simple:
    * It would be nice to have option to filter out pingbacks from comments
    * It would be even more nice to have configuration of sites to include or exclude managed in some other way, of example, using paged forms or lists, but not checkboxes (my site is new, but I already have trouble managing in current way)
    * And it would be also nice to have some possibility to have additional parameter – to include posts starting from some number. For example, on first inclusion – only two newest posts to place on top of page and on second inclusion – posts from 3rd to 8th in some smaller format and the last posts, from 9th to 20th in small form. Format of plugin is already flexible, so the number of post is needed.
    * And the last thing, it would be great to have possibility to add size of excerpt as parameter, because currently the only way is editing source code of plugin.
    * Oh, and the latest, simply would be great things: it would be great to have functions to remove text from excerpt by regular pattern, or to avoid publishing by some keywords

    Also it would be useful to be able to automatically exclude the WordPress default posts and hello world comments for new blogs that have just been created. Also these new blogs should not be in the blog list before they have atleast one post created by the user.

    Hello,

    We have published ver 1.8, and it contains the following changes:
    – recent posts filters out default ‘Hello World!’ posts
    – recent comments filters out default comments, pingbacks and trackbacks

    The other requests from popo_blogai will be implemented in the next version so I will leave this thread ‘not resolved’.
