I have an 500 Internal error being caused by a plugin, but I cannot get to the plugins to turn off/troubleshoot. days now, and with the help of my developer & hosting provider – we narrowed it down to this error log message thismorning:

[22-Feb-2011 17:18:50] PHP Warning: unlink(cache/dbec233a2b11bddea1a3b23fe07876e0.png): No such file or directory in /blkdv/wp-content/themes/DynamiX/DynamiX/lib/scripts/timthumb.php on line 703

    Yesterday it was this:
[21-Feb-2011 18:53:34] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 128 bytes) in /blkdv/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 747

any suggestions: does this look familiar?
The 500 internal error also comes up when I try and login to phpMyAdmin – to
    adjust my plugins manually!

  • The newest error is coming from your theme

To troubleshoot I would deactivate all plugins using ftp or a file manager if your host offers one. This can be done by renaming your existing plugins folder to something else (like plugins.old) and making a new plugins folder

Same thing for your theme, renaming DynamiX folder to something like DynamiX.old will reset you to the twentyten theme

This should at least help you regain access to your site
