• Hi all, not sure if this issue is directly related to the plugin, but I haven’t found another place to post the behavior. If anyone knows what to make of this, please reply, I’m at my wits’?end.

To reproduce: Use the plugin to display 3 or more audio files on the same page. Use vanilla syntax, with no extra options, in WP 3.0.1. Load the page on a Mac (tested with 10.6.4) in Safari 5.0.2 or Webkit (tested with 69728). You’ll see that SOME of the files are loaded with the Quicktime plugin, while others are not. If the page is reloaded, OTHER files are correctly loaded. There is no discernible pattern that can predict which files will be loaded and which won’t. Then view the same page in Firefox or Chrome, and you’ll see that everything works fine.

I suspect (!) that it’s a bug within Webkit, but the error could also be caused by a race condition or similar within the plugin’s JavaScript code. I couldn’t find anything on Apple’s Radar yet, so I suspect that the plugin is causing this behavior. (If it were a purely Webkit-related bug, it would be so obvious that hundreds of others had previously reported it.)

So, any ideas what’s happening here? Anyone? o_o
