Plugin Deactivated due to Invalid Header

On a few of my sites, I am starting to find that the WP Newsman Lite plugin is deactived, along with a message stating:
“The WP Newsman Lite plugin has been deactivated due to an error. The plugin does not have a valid header.”
How can I update and validate the header to allow the plugin to be reactivated?
