    That’s awesome!

No, wait, awesome would be if it actually searched the plugins! ??

I think for starters, I’ll just prevent it run doing its thing on admin pages. Beyond that, though, I definitely could add an exception list. I’m sure people have gallery searches and things like that they don’t want the global WP search acting on.

Thanks for letting me know. Good find!

Well, that was easy. I added an is_admin() check to the current development version. It’ll get included in the next release, probably around the beginning of the year.

The exceptions list is in the development version now, too. The functionality works great, but I need to figure out how I’m going to describe it. Right now, the description sounds like something a programmer threw together before running out the door to work…

Cool – you can make it search the plugin library ?!?!?(just kidding).

Thanks for looking into this. I like the plugin. It works in WPtouch and WP Mobile Edition too, although I’ve only tried it on WP Mobile Edition in Safari on a desktop with a bodged User Agent.

How about calling the exclusion list “Places wot I don’t need any ‘elp searching from orroit!” ?
