Im lost? I thought this created an extra box area for dashboard for all to see?

It only posted in dashboard links area on menu onleft.

I thought it would create A new Text box for members to see on members dashboard page?

You apparently did not scroll to the bottom to the Site Notes options.

“Display in the following locations:”

Simply check mark the areas you want the note to show.

Everywhere

Nothing shows in actual dashboard?

No, the dashboard is not one of the options.

Did you try Miscellaneous Options > Include in the dashboard widget
