Hi @cmoney2018
There are two ways to navigate to the Braintree plugin settings.
1. On the left hand side of the Admin dashboard you will see a “Braintree Gateway” link which you can click. From there you will see all of the payment gateways.
2. Click WooCommerce – Settings – Payments. On the payments page you can click one of the Braintree gateways and it will take you to the settings page.
Kind regards
Hello,
no. 1 is not working. Can you show me a screen shotz?
no. 2 works but it only shows paypal and credit card.I cannot make any settings that differentiates between the shop where we sell single products and the subscriptions that are for recurring payments. Can you help?
Hi @cmoney2018
It sounds like you might be using another Braintree plugin, not mine. Make sure you are using Braintree for WooCommerce.
You can verify that by going to the Admin plugins page.
Kind regards
Hi,
I am using this plugin “Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway”
Is it yours and if not can you send me the link?Cheers,
Clemens@cmoney2018 ya that’s not my plugin.
This is my plugin:
Ok, thanks.
I activated this plugin but as I could not see anything in the dashboard I deactivated it again. If I have your plugin do I need the plugin “Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway” as well?1. On the left hand side of the Admin dashboard you will see a “Braintree Gateway” link which you can click. From there you will see all of the payment gateways.
This is not working either and under WC, settings, payment I do not see any difference to the plugin that I mentioned above. What is the difference? This is the error I am receiving when activating your plugin

Hi @cmoney2018
What is confusing about that error message?
It is telling you that you have another Braintree plugin active and thus you must deactivate it before activating my plug-in.
To prevent conflicts my plug-in checks to see if the other Braintree plugin’s is active.
Kind regards
Hi,
Thanks for your answer!
Ok, sorry. I did not read it carefully. What is the difference between your plugin and this plugin “Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway”?
I have two products and for those two products I would like to differentiate between payment methods as below
a) subscriptions are recurring payments (credit cards, paypal, apple pay,)
b) single products are one-time payments (credit cards, paypal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay and Google Pay)I have a braintree accouint. Can I make this setting with your plugin?
Have a nice day!

If you test both plugins you will see the difference. Or read the descriptions of both plugins and do a comparison. Or you can read reviews for both plugins.
I have a braintree accouint. Can I make this setting with your plugin?
Yes you can make those settings using this plugin.

Payment Plugins.
So, I can make setting to offer separate payment method for recurring payments and single payments?
What if I deactivate the current plugin and activate your plugin. Will the payments be processed as usually? What do I need to do to make a smooth transfer?

Yes that is correct.

Yes, the payments will be processed as usual. The transition is seamless. The only thing you will need to do is enter your API keys into the plugin.

Hello Mr. Clayton,
I downloaded and installed your software. However I cannot make the settings as such to differentiate between single purchases and recurring payments (subscription). How is this working?
Does your software recognized which payments can be used and displays only the suitable during the checkout process?
For example I activated SEPA pay which shows during the recurring payment checkout for subscriptions. According to Braintree SEPA payments cannot be used for recurring payments. Can you please comment to find a solution. For the google pay I need to insert other keys than the Braintree keys. Will the google payments be processed by Braintree?
Have a nice day!
I’m not sure I understand your question regarding subscriptions. You can either use a plugin like WooCommerce Subscriptions or use the plugin’s built in subscription module which can be activated on the Advanced Settings page.
SEPA will show if you’re allowing manual subscription payments through WooCommerce Subscriptions. SEPA doesn’t support automatic recurring payments.
GPay only requires that you enter your GPay Merchant ID, no other keys are required.
All payments are processed by Braintree.
Kind Regards,
Thanks for your reply!
We have WC subscription as an extension but as you mentioned SEPA is not working with recurring payments. However when I activate SEPA in your plugin I can add a subscription product (that renews every month) to the shopping card. So this should not be because the customer cannot proceed with the checkout. It should not be visible. What can I do about it?
If I deactivate SEPA then I cannot offer this payment methods for single product purchases. I have a shop and you can purchase either single products or subscriptions or both in one shopping card. Once a subscription is inside the shopping card it should only offer payment methods that are suitable fro recurring payments.
Do I need to apply for the google pay separately or is Braintree providing the key?
Thanks for your feedback.
