[Plugin: Customer Reviews] How Delete Empty Stars?

I just completed my first Word Press website, with the help of many folks at various support forums, including this one. As a non-programmer, I literally couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.

My new website uses the Word Press Customer Reviews plugin. I decided to eliminate the star ratings, so I followed a topic on this site from a year ago that tells how to do it. I succeeded in eliminating the request for a star rating in the submission form. But I haven’t been able to get rid of the five empty stars that now appear in each review.

One contributor to this forum reported success in eliminating the empty stars with this approach:

“I … deleted all references to the file ‘newstars.png’ in wp-customer-reviews.js
This stopped the stars showing as 5 empty stars when the review is approved.”

I tried to follow these instructions but failed because I couldn’t find any reference to “newstars.png” in the WPCR code.

If anyone can help me get rid of the empty stars, wither with this approach or some other, I would really appreciate it. Many thanks.
