[Plugin: Custom widgets] Custom Widgets – how to differentiate the homepage from others

Hi:

I have a client who wants to have a widget only on the homepage (per an agreement with their advertiser). I set this up, and it was working, until I realized that the homepage is not only the “first” page of the blog. If you go “older posts” or to “Page two” since only 10 posts are showing on each page, each one of those pages is considered the homepage as well. Therefore the widget is showing on those, and we don’t want this.

Is there a way to program this plugin to ONLY show on that very first page and NO other page in the blog, even if people click to the next page with posts?
