[Plugin: Custom sidebars] PLEASE UP-DATE THIS BRILLIANT PLUG-IN!

For me it seems to be still working, using wordpress 3.1.1 and twenty-ten theme. If you want it to display the custom sidebars on the preview you must save the draft before press the preview button.

To set your custom sidebar as default for pages you must have it set on the default sidebars configuration.

Is there any other person with the same problem???

I just installed Custom Sidebar plugin today, I am using twenty ten theme. It works for all pages except the post page.

Is this a known issue. Please advise how to fix it.

It’s working for me. I tested with:

WordPress 3.1.2
Theme: Twenty Ten 1.2

and

WordPress 3.2 Beta 1
Theme: Twenty Eleven 1.0
Theme: Twenty Ten 1.2

How do I create a new sidebar that will replace multiple default sidebars on a page? I need to replace sidebar 1 and sidebar 1 [bottom] on each web page to reflect different information yet retain my blog in its current state.

I attempted to replace all default sidebars to no avail. What should the Page Attributes be set to on the Edit Page?

Hi mad Swede,

You can select multiple sidebars to replace in the same page from the custom sidebars configuration page.

You can select several sidebars just holding the SHIFT key when clicking them. Then save the configuration and you will be able to select replacements for every sidebar you marked.
