• Hi,

do you plan add taxonomy to this great plugin?
I really love it, but sometimes when i have much content blocks, it is little bit messy to choose from select box. There are may be absolutely different contents like page header/footer supplements, sidebar page contents, page inline content and so on.

I think that hierarchical taxonomy should be used to catalogize this content block to have tidy within.

    Example in this picture: https://imgupload.sk/viewer.php?file=174lmacnt28b6artjvfw.png

Another use of taxonomy should be with Members or another Role access plugin to for example hide content block which belongs to category(taxonomy). And another ones examples, which i don’t think ??

    Your response?

    Thanks.

Hi Radovan, adding taxonomy capabilities to the content block custom post type should not be very difficult to do (I think you might even be able to do this using your theme’s functions.php file).

Even though the example picture you provided looks easy to use I am a bit worried about potentially adding complexity to the plugin. After all users will have to set up a taxonomy before adding content blocks, even when they do not need them. I will consider adding this when I create an options page for the plugin.
