    Hi.

    Is there any way to have a Custom Post Type panel with Post Type Archive page links in the Appareance > Menus Nav Menus section? Just as if you were selecting pages, including CSS classes for selected items.

    Also, are you planning to release a WP feel theme-ing of your plugin? If you’re not kind with this, will you accept patches to?

    Now that WP Post Type UI is no more under development this will be highly appreciated and not so hard to do. Loved that UI. ??

    You can add a custom post type to the Appearance menu by verifying the advanced option SHOW IN MENU is TRUE and the Top level page is set to themes.php

    Hi Brad,

    Thanks for the reply, but actually I wasn’t talking about that.

    I want Post Type Archive Pages to show and add them to Nav Menus, not to show it as a submenu of Appearance.

    Also, any comments about the UI?

    Just add a custom URL in the menu management of WordPress to your archive page.

    I’m not familiar with how that plugin’s UI looks, but I have no plans to make any major changes to this plugin in terms of UI apart from the v0.7 changes.

    Hi again Brad.

    That’s the problem. If I add a custom URL to Nav Menu, no CSS classes apply when I select it.

    It would be nice to have a menu box under Nav Menu to select Custom Post Types that aren’t hierarchical and also have Archive page. As if they were normal Pages.

    You can see the UI I’ve told here. The plugin was based on your work, but with a nice WP feel. ??

    Hi Raul,
    I looked for alternative means to reach you, but, couldn’t find any, so, hope you get this here. I see that your submission took root and is now a filter, and I was curious if you might be so kind as so help clue me in as to how to apply the filter so that the nav menu meta box shows itself? I know they’re looking to get it automagic for 3.3, but, way too far in the future for me ??

    Hi fella!

    You can apply my patch (16075_fase1.patch) if you’re in a hurry.

    I’ve got it working as a charm on my 3.2 local sandbox. ??

    Hopefully I get some time next in the next weeks to do a plugin for this, taking advantage from the filter they want to include in 3.2.
