[Plugin: Custom Page Menus] Request ability to use SPAN in horizonal menu like the widget uses

Great program. Just what our client wanted.
Only issue is we need the Horizonal menu to allowed to use the Custom Page- Alt Page Title like the widget does. The widget pulls these in using Span tags. I have looked at both template-tag.php and widget-class.php and tried to merge pieces of code, but I have been unsuccessful.
