[Plugin: Custom Headers and Footers] Can't use shortcodes in footer

This plugin is exactly what I was looking for but I have two issues :
– I don’t seem to be capable of using shortcodes in my footers and headers
– The blog footer won’t show up even though I entered things in the blog footer section
