[Plugin: Custom Field Template] Media picker delete completely deletes image!

  • Hi,

    Using the latest version of CFT (1.8.5 at time of writing), and noticed if you want to delete an image you’ve chosen from the media picker area, then it deletes the image from your media library!

    There MUST be a way to stop that, especially as it affects other areas of the site – if that image is used elsewhere, it obviously disappears from there too because the file is deleted.

    I thought the media picker is meant to just get the ID of the image?

    Please tell me it’s possible to change this….

    Please upgrade to 1.8.6 and try to add mediaRemove = true in the file type.

    Absolutely! Hiroaki, thank you so much for this fix. You had me scared there for a moment, unexpectedly deleting images from the Media Library! ??
