  • I’m not able to reproduce the issue.

    1. Are you able to see the “Placement Rules” box below the fields box? If not, view the page source and see if there’s any error at the bottom of the code.

    2. This could be a plugin compatibility issue. Disable other plugins to see if the button starts working. If it does, re-enable the plugins one-by-one.

@xeevee – Try upgrading to v1.0.7 to see if that solves your issue. Thanks.

The same thing happens to me in version 1.0.8 with WordPress 3.3 beta 2. There seems to be a javascript error, because all the other js functionality is broken on the page as well (show-hide switches, post status changer, flyout menus, etc.). It happens in multiple browsers.

    The console shows this error:

    ReferenceError: Can't find variable: tinyMCE
    /wp-admin/post.php?post=845&action=edit&message=6:51

Do you know how to fix this?

It seems that the problem was with some code in functions.php. Specifically, this snippet to add the TinyMCE editor to the post excerpt textarea— https://wpsnipp.com/index.php/excerpt/enable-tinymce-editor-for-post-the_excerpt/

    This is a great plugin!

Glad to hear it. Make sure to vote for the plugin ??

    Certainly ??
