• Just upgraded components of an install containing both CCTM and Summarize Posts, and now getting an error from Summarize Posts stating:

The Summarize Posts plugin cannot load correctly! Another plugin has declared conflicting class, function, or constant names:

    Class: uninstall_cctm

You must deactivate the plugins that are using these conflicting names.

Is this a direct conflict between CCTM and Summarize Posts? Or do the other plugins possibly contain that class line? I’m on CCTM 0.9.5.6 and SP 0.7 now.

Also, when I deactivate CCTM, the error message goes away. Not a solution though, because I need the CCTM functionality for the site! Thanks.

OK, I missed that CCTM integrated Summarize Posts in 0.9.5, so we deactivated that. However, a couple of the features that were working with Summarize Posts are not functioning automatically with CCTM activated. Exploring that right now.

A colleague is going to create a new thread for you with a question on the above-mentioned on the Summarize Posts settings not migrating into the integrated CCTM versions (0.9.5+) along with some issues with Menus in the laterst WP 3.3. This thread is now finished, thanks for the patience.

You have to deactivate the Summarize Posts plugin because CCTM duplicates its classes: you cannot redeclare the class. Yes, the integration is not 100% complete — 0.9.5.6 got the shortcodes working. There were a LOT of edge cases that had to be resolved when the code was integrated, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are others. If you can help identify them I can do my best to get them fixed. Please file bugs in the bug tracker: it’s the only way I can keep my sanity while developing multiple plugins.
