• I had high hopes for this plugin because it is the first one I’ve found for WordPress that allows you to customize the URL of the form action. The problem seems to be, however, that when I do that the safeguards against spammers and fat-fingering are disabled. I am able to hit the Submit button and send a blank submission with no data typed in to the Required Fields or the CAPTCHA when using a custom action URL.

Is there something I am missing? Along these lines is there any way to use the Custom HTML AND a custom action URL in conjunction? We have a couple of customers that would really like to use a forms package for WordPress but want to submit the data directly to us for processing. Is it a feature you would consider developing for a sufficient donation?

Using the Custom HTML Feature with a custom form action would be pointless. If you change the form action, processing the data and detecting spam is completely up to you (as of this version). Changing the form action could be useful if you don’t know HTML and are using some third party site like Aweber or Infusionsoft to process your form submissions. In the future, CCF will use some javascript validation. The only way for the plugin to detect spam, if you change the form action, is with javascript.

I would consider adding what you need in to the latest version for a sufficient donation. Email me at [email protected]

This would be an incredible feature if made available.
