[Plugin: Custom Contact Forms] How to CC in sender on email as well?

I’d also be interested to know about this cc possibility.

I guess this isn’t possible then? I emailed the developer directly, but got no response.

I found the following comment under the advanced tab (Custom HTML forms).

Paste all this code into a page or post and edit it to your liking. It is recommended you only use this feature if you are experienced with HTML. The destination_email field specifies where emails will be sent on successful submission; you can have the form send to multiple addresses by separating email’s with semi-colons (i.e. [email protected]; [email protected]). The success_message field will add a popover containing the message when the form is completed successfully, the thank_you_page field will force the user to be redirected to that specific page on successful form completion. The required_fields hidden field is optional; to use it separate the field names you want required by commas. Remember to use underscores instead of spaces in field names!

There does not seem to be an option to do this in the plugin configuration page itself ??

I cant see from the above how you make it also go to the senders email address they supplied? To me that just sounds like a way to make it go ANOTHER of your own email addresses.

Also, what I would want is for the customer to receive the information they added but in a nicer laid out email, rather than the “Bare basics” type email we receive.

You are correct in your assumption.

This is not possible with CCF. May I suggest truing another plug-in. May I suggest Contact Form 7 by Takayuki Miyoshi. You can get very fancy with the formatting of the form itself, and the format of the email body too.

I really like the way Custom Contact Forms looks and I really don’t want to spend half a day learning how to us ANOTHER plugin properly unless it has decent “HOW TOs”.

There are no decent screenshots and the whole thing looks overly complicated.
I love all the different wordpress plugins, but I think a lot of developers dont realise that a good “Idiots guide – With Images” is essential to get users using it and not just downloading it and then moving onto something else. (But if im being honest I cant remember if CCF had this)
