[Plugin: CubePoints] How do you use these points?

    How do you guys use the points on your site other than bragging rights? Do you use it in a contest somehow?

    One thought one of my members had was:

    Sometimes you do giveaways, we may be able to “spend” those points on lottery chances. Then you’d have to have a total points earnt and points spent information.

    One thought I had is when we hold contests/giveaways. You have to spend some of your points when you win the item.

    What are your ideas?

    I know they have a beta for it. But I haven’t got it to work yet.

    I always thought the point – no pun intended X-D – of a giveaway was to win stuff for free, not buy stuff. But hey, that’s just me ;-p

    Anyway, the link to the store script fires back a 404 error, is it still being developed?

    An idea I’m thinking of myself is to focus more on the ranks feature, and members with more “senior” rights – being an implication of their quality of content – have more freedom on the main site to upload bigger files (if like the site I’m working on you allow your members to upload stuff) and post more feature rich content.
