[Plugin: CSV Importer] Plug in won’t import data…

I could really use a little bit of your direction. I can make a donation
to you for your help in getting this working properly. I’s using the
Jewelry Theme. I’m at the import products stage. I have a few questions or
items I’m unclear about. First of all, I created an excel document with
the correct headers from your documentation (at least I hope so). I have
attached this file for your review. Could you please review the import
file to make sure I did it correctly.

There are two main issues I am unclear about:

1. What is info goes in the “csv_post_type” and do I need this during the
import?
2. As it relates to images:
A. Should I use the WP images to upload all the images first or should I
just upload them to some directory via FTP (upload > pictures) and dump
all of my files in there then use that folder as the absolute url in the
csv file?. Will the csv uploader then pull these images from this url and
place them in the media library?
B. I notice two different pieces of code as it relates to images and I’m
not sure what the difference is or which one to use. “image_thumb”
“featured_img”?

I’ve also attached screenshots of all my taxonomies, and post tags for

One last thing, I tested the file as is without the image url and it
returned the following message:

“Skipped 63 posts (most likely due to empty title, body and excerpt).
Imported 0 posts and 0 comments in 0.07 seconds.”

If you look at the excel file, none of those fields are empty. I’ve also
added theme specific items that I will need imported. I’ve checked with
the theme developer and she says all the headings look correct. Any ideas
as to why this is not working? There was only 1 post entered into the test
import – the same file I sent to you minus the csv_post_type and
featured_img. Also I had the column image_thumb in the file but no
content. I’m using a mac, so could the problem be that I can’t save the
file to a utc-8 format? To accomplish this, I opened the excel file in a
text editor program converted the data to plain text then save it in the
correct format.

I really appreciate your help and insight into this part of the process.
