    Hi there,

We use WP multisite. One subsite we have we are wanting to use this plugin.

We have WP stock cron OFF because it is a multisite and use only real cron jobs in CPanel and/or sometimes us https://www.easycron.com In the case of Easy Cron what path and file do we need to use to trigger the job every X min so that “ao_ccss_queue” fires correctly? What is, generally, a good recurring time to set (i.e. every 15 min, 30 min, etc) too?

Right now we have a bunch of these https://www.screencast.com/t/DwphqHJoCr and just need the cron jobs to begin working.

Also, is there any other crons other that “ao_ccss_queue” we should include too?

We do not want to turn on WP stock cron.

    Thanks a lot!

    Greg

    1. although it _might_ work, in general I strongly advise against having more then one plugin doing JS/ CSS optimization.

    2. if you use comet cache for CSS optimization, you won’t have critical CSS.

    3. you can set the CDN in AO, no conflict expected really.

    hope this helps,

    Frank,

Ah…ok. So, you do not feel I would need the Critical CSS plugin at all with Comet Cache PRO installed and enabled networkwide with any subsites right? Just to confirm . . . you feel all “Critical CSS” is actually handled by Comet Cache PRO sufficiently?

So, I can use all other “parts” of AutoOptimize as long as the other “parts” do not have anything to do with JS/CSS optimizations (i.e. like the preconnect, google fonts, CDN option, features etc . . . which may fill in the gaps where Comet Cache PRO has no options for) OR do you feel it best, in my case, since I really can not disable Comet Cache PRO at all cause it is on a network and effects other subsites to just disable totally?

My biggest question is to be sure we know that Comet Cache PRO is actually fulfilling the needs of “Critical CSS” for sure or not?

    ??

No, actually; if you use Comet Cache for CSS opt. then you’ll actually totally miss out on what Critical CSS does!

    yes you can

    no, it is not.

    Frank,

Ok, so, you feel I can leave my Comet Cache PRO settings as is and just use these options here https://www.screencast.com/t/5e3mlGjvFVB2 for the Critical CSS part and be ok then right?

assuming CSS opt. in Comet Cache is off; yes.
