Plugin creating long URL’s

Dear support,

I just installed the cookie plugin and everything works fine. However, the plugin seems to create long URL’s when browsing between pages on the website. For example, this string is attached to the URL:

“&_gl=14b1hfs_gaMTc0ODU3NDQ4LjE2NzIzMjI1MDY._ga_EZG4LEXQ3B*MTY3MjMyMjUwNS4xLjEuMTY3MjMyMjU3Mi4wLjAuMA..”

Is there a way to hide this, perhaps with htaccess? I’d love to hear from you. Thanks for your time.
