• In installing your plugin a second Google Analytics profile seems to have been created, and is showing different stats about my blog site (significantly lower bounce rate, somewhat lower Page Views). How do I reconcile this and figure out which stats are correct?

The site is thesplicedlife.com, and is being run on WordPress 4.3.1.

The system will only create a new profile if you use the auto-configure option without choosing an existing profile.

You can make sure you pick the correct profile under: WordPress Admin -> Settings -> Better Analytics (you should see a drop-down at the top that allows you to pick a profile).

As far as bounce rate, if you don’t want to have the system use an adjusted bounce rate (more on that here: https://analytics.blogspot.com/2012/07/tracking-adjusted-bounce-rate-in-google.html), disable the “User Engagement” tracking on that same settings page.
