    Hello,
I have the problem that when I authenticate with Google, the plugin create a new property on Search Console and this cause me this problem:
    – example.com (domain property)
    https://www.example.com/

This is a double entry that I would avoid in Search Console, any way to solve this?

@franz22 Thanks for reporting. The below GitHub issue should be resolved since Site Kit version 1.3.0, although that’s based on using the exact same URL, not a subdomain or other variation:
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/325

Can you share your URL or Site Health information and I can see if I notice anything which may be impacting Search Console property creation?

Hi @jamesosborne thank you very much for your reply.
My URL is https://www.stintup.com/ and this is what I have originally on Search Console:
https://imgur.com/oBOfkfb (if I use the plugin I have also another voice, “https://www.stintup.com/”)

@franz22 Thanks for the update. In relation to that last link you provided, can you share the URL you see within Site Kit under the Search Console settings? (Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services > Search Console)

In addition please inform me if you have just recently switched to https.

Here is the various screenshot while Site Kit plugin is activated, the URL under settings and the new domain added to search console:

I switched to https over a year ago.

Thank you very much for your help.

@franz22 Thanks for the follow up. Can you check this link and inform me of the variations of your property you see, along with the verification methods.

    stintup.com (Record TXT DNS)
    https://stintup.com/ (Google Analytics)
    https://stintup.com/ (Google Analytics)
    https://www.stintup.com/ (Google Analytics)

@franz22 thanks for your reply. We’re checking in on this with the team and will follow up with you soon.

@franz22 Currently, Site Kit’s support for the domain property is for the exact match on the URL (without the www subdomain). It will add a URL-prefix property for other URL types. We’re discussing the possibility of extending the support, so I’ll keep this thread updated.

@franz22 Just following up with you to see if everything is working as normal on your side? The additional entry in your Search Console is just to report on your WordPress site using Site Kit, your existing domain property reporting should not be impacted. But please let me know if Site Kit is working as expected for you.

@jamesosborne hi James, thank you for the follow-up! Yes, it should not impact the report of the existing domain, but I am not using it anymore since I deleted it one day after I noticed the “new domain added”.

@franz22 thanks for your reply! We’ve just added a fix for this in the new version 1.6.0. Would it be possible for you to try Site Kit once more to ensure this is resolved for you?

@reneesoffice I confirm that now it works without any issue!
Thank you so much for all of you for the support! ??

I have two question before enabling all the features of this plugin:
    – if I enable the auto ads AdSense with plugin, it will add auto ads also to AMP pages?
    – if I enable the inserting of Analytics tag, it will add also the tracking code to AMP pages?

    Thank you! ??

@franz22 Glad to hear it. And to answer your questions see below:

    – if I enable the auto ads AdSense with plugin, it will add auto ads also to AMP pages?

Correct, Auto ads code will be placed on your AMP URLs also.

    – if I enable the inserting of Analytics tag, it will add also the tracking code to AMP pages?

As above it will add the tracking code to your AMP URLs also.

Thanks again for your patience. Be sure to leave the plugin a review.
