    Hello.
I created a website for school. Initially, everything was ok, but recently an IT specialist in the website said she could not add photos. Of course, I’m using your plugin. When I entered the settings of your plugin, the tabs with the names of particular options have disappeared. The problem was solved when I turned off and re-enabled the plugin.
For some time it was ok, and today the above-mentioned problem appeared again.
It is so cumbersome that all settings must be entered again.

I wanted to ask, what could be the reason for this behavior of the plugin? I will add that there was no such problem on the server that I have on my computer (XAMPP software).

How can I deal with this problem? I would not like to change this plugin because it is clear and easy to use.

    Regards

  • I’m trying to load 50 photos on one page. Last night they just sat there and grined away. The pictures never did come up.

Also, I’m not getting the thumb nail to expanded veiw when the mouse is hovering over the pix.

    Your help is appreciated,

@tuomi90 – I would expect something is changing within the WordPress installation and/or the server environment. I would look to caching/optimization plugins/services first.

Problems like this can sometimes occur due to a conflict on your site. I’d like to have you try a few things. Please try deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN Gallery plugin(s)?

If this fixes the problem it was likely one of the deactivated plugins causing the issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin (one at a time) and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating the plugins as it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases, it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

    Thanks!

    Cais,
I’m not sure I have been upgraded to Nextgen Pro, which I purchased.
I did have another image program installed, but have since eliminated.
Tell me how I can make my setup of thumbnails work?
