[Plugin: CPT-onomies] Display Post Type attached like taxonomies

    Hello,

    First, huge thanks for this awesome plugin, it helped me to solve a problem that was blocking me for a long time

    I noticed that the post type attached to a post type in the Add Page is displayed as a list of checkbox.

    I wanted to know if it was possible to display them as taxonomies (Autocomplete list) or planned in futur release ?

  • Hey! Thanks! I’m glad you like it!

    I THINK it’s possible to do what you’re asking… and I’ve bounced the idea around before… but I’m still not sure implementing it would be a good idea.

    While CPT-onomies act like taxonomies, they are, at the core, posts and I’m still not sure that having that box, which would essentially allow to you create an entire post from one word, would be sensible.

    I’ll keep the idea on my list, though, and keep thinking about it!

    Thanks for your response.

    It’s only for the selection in the metabox of the attached album that I’d like an autocomplete list and not to create a post with one word.

    It might link to your answer in the end !

    Just wanted to let you know I’ve added the autocomplete box so look for it in the next update, which should be released sometime in the next week!
