Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

  • When i try to activate the plugin i get the following fatal error : Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WP_Object_Cache in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/memcached/object-cache.php on line 93

    My host confirmed memcache is up and running and i have the extention is active.
    I also tried deactivating all other plugins but it still gave me the fatal error.

    Would appreciate if someone could help me with this…
