• I was able to download the persistent login plugin just fine. It’s when I try to activate the plugin is were I get this error message:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home.web/insider/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-persistent-login/wp_persistent_login.php on line 428.

    Please help.

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

    Can I just check what version of WP you are using, and if you attempted to activate the plugin again after receiving this error?

    I’ve just updated the plugin, so it may be worth trying again (with the latest version of WP) to see if it is working now.
