Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error

  • Hi,

    On the live page it’s all fine but on my local system (mac, latest os) I don’t get this plugin activated.

    The error message:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error
    Parse error: parse error in …/wp-content/plugins/oa-open-graph-for-fb/index.php on line 281

    I deactivated all plugins and switched to twenty-sixteen theme, but still the same error.

    Any solution?

    No, I didn’t change anything. Anyway, I’ve seen that you updated the plugin. I can activate it, but I get those two errors, now:

    The plugin generated 2121 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]
    ALTER TABLE wp_nznajluxvo_oa_og ADD
