  • This is not an issue with the plugin but merely a conflict between the plugin and the theme you are using. The resolution is to either change the name of the excerpt() function in either the theme or the plugin. You should not expect him to change his code for this unless he’s feeling extra nice.

My way of dealing with code which clashes is not to use it, which puts the onus back on the author to make sure it doesn’t.

    Hi Terence,

I will look into this, the excerpt function is a default WordPress function used in a widget, i will see why to fix the conflict anyway in next update.

    Thanks
