    Not clear on why you are getting the error. The current version of the plugin has been available and used for quite a while.

    WordPress 4.1.1 here too

    I have the same error when I try to activate the plugin:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/httpd/vhosts/BetaDanielleviauCom/releases/20150318143713/public/wp-content/plugins/event-registration/public/evr_public-form.php on line 368

    The new version 6.01.08 has resolved this issue.
