Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error

  • Hello,

    I am trying to activate ‘Ultimate Security Checker’, however I am getting the error:

    “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error”

    I am using PHP Version 5.4.35, however I tried 5.3 as well, but that didn’t work.

    I am able to activate other plugins though.

    I am using wordpress 4.0.1

    There doesn’t seem to be a error_log generated from trying to activate the plugin.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
