Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare optionsframework_init() (previously declared in /home/xyz/public_html/example.com/wp-content/themes/xyz/inc/options-framework.php:35) in /home/xyz/public_html/example.com/wp-content/plugins/options-framework/options-framework.php on line 54

  • Hi, I get the same error. This is the first time I have installed the plugin on my WP installation.

Cannot redeclare optionsframework_init() (previously declared in C:\xampp\htdocs\WPSite_test\wp-content\themes\alexandria\admin\options-framework.php:67) in C:\xampp\htdocs\WPSite_test\wp-content\plugins\options-framework\options-framework.php on line 54

This is because the theme author bundled the plugin directly in their theme- which means the plugin should not be needed.
