[Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Video's load very slowly

Download QTIndexSwapper. It works great. I have 50mb videos that plays after a 3 sec buffer.

Thanks, that works very well. Now we buffer for just a few seconds and it starts playing. Exactly what I was looking for.

I like MP$ Fast Start https://www.datagoround.com/lab/. MP4 FastStart fixes the files so they can be streamed. It adjusts the MP4’s metadata to allow for Flash players to play them right away (Fast Start), while it progressively downloads. This is necessary as well for effective iPad playing.

This is so helpful. Thanks for the tips on streaming self-hosted video. I have 3 videos; 180MB, 335MB and 456MB. They just buffer – I’ve never been able to wait to see them start to play.

Hmmm, which one to try….

I have installed the plugin and uploaded the videos. The pop-up opens up and the video just loads forever. The videos are roughly 500KB. Here is the url: https://footjax.com/foot-ankle-videos/?preview=true&preview_id=656&preview_nonce=93fda5373f

Please make sure you have videos in proper encoded format.
