[Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Manual Preview Image Not Working

I’m having problems with the video. Everything else works, including the default thumb which I’ll amend BUT only getting sound and no visuals with the MP4 videos.

Please make sure your video is encoded in correct format. MP4 videos should be H.264.

Praveen, I have downloaded the recent version.. and I was looking at this path, and I don’t have the plugins/cool-video-gallery/lib/thumbgen.php.. where is a shot:

Hi,

The latest version does not include this file. A patch was added to generate thumbnail thereby removing the above mentioned file.

Sure, thanks Preveen. Basically the video is wroking pretty cool, but I can′t change the preview image. I’m uploading it un .png, save it and it does not change ??

Okay i see, Please provide me the answers to following. What about your file permissions? Size of the image you are trying to upload? Server’s PHP maximum file upload size limit?

Ok, I set all the file permissions to 777 in: /lib and my file size is 393px x 529 px. Where I can see the php thing? Thanks! ??

777 permission should be set to wp-content/uploads/ folder too in order to upload files into the same. Is PHP GD module enabled in your server? To see the details of PHP you can create a sample file named info.php and add the code <?php phpinfo(); ?> and then access the file through your browser.

I upload the info.php, so exactly specifically what word do I have to search for? There’s a lot of info ??

And also I just realize that if I want to delete a video, it doesn’t happpen ??

May i know what is the message you get after the popup fades in both delete and upload preview option?

Praveen, nothing happened, it just ask me if I want to delete, I said yes, and it just fades. Doesn’t delete anything ??
