Please run the SQL command for an additional field.
ALTER TABLE wp_cvg_videosADDsortorderBIGINT( 20 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT ‘0’ AFTERdescription ;

I will fix that issue soon.

Praveen Rajan, i’ve updated your plugin to 1.2, but previews images still not working. Neither default preview PNG file nor uploaded by me. I’ve replaced new cool-video-gallery.php with old self-edited file, then previews appeared, but still uploading thru wp-admin wont work. Only ftp uploading works fine (but with *.png files only).

What we gonna do?

Praveen – is this new version working or not? Would love to install on a new site, but it’s gotta give me those gallery preview images! Thanks – great plugin – hope you have it working!

The new release supports .png preview image files only. The thumbnails should work if you have given /plugins/cool-video-gallery/lib/cache/ permission 777. Please confirm the same.

There is an issue during automatic upgrade. I’m working on fixing that. So i suggest you to try a fresh installation of plugin.

thank you for this plugin, it’s just what I need!

But… can’t upload the thumbs too. I just install the last version on a fresh wordpress site. I create a png file, 100x100px, the thumb uploader let me click but nothing seems to happen.

Can’t we do it via ftp ?

please help I don’t find another plugin which can do the same work.

I have tried the version 1.2 and I don′t get the plugin show the thumbnails.

I upload a video calle sample.flv and a thumbnail named thumbs_sample.png buth it shows nothing.

I alredy have the permisions to 777 in the two folders.

Did you try giving permission 777 to file plugins/cool-video-gallery/lib/thumbgen.php and the folder plugins/cool-video-gallery/lib/cache/?

If its still not working, you can upload your preview image to corresponding gallery’s thumbs folder following the naming convention.
Ex. for video a sample.flv, preview image name should be thumbs_sample.png.

it works great know, but I have to use the manual way. The issue is that the person who will manage the gallery isn’t very confortable with ftp and folder management…
