[Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Cant Delete Videos From Gallery

Currently encountering the same issue. When trying to delete a gallery or video, the page greys out but nothing happens. Everything else appears to be working fine.

Progress bar just keeps going and going…

Is a pity that the developer of this plugin dont do somthing about it as is a great plugin but looks like is not reliable.

How did you add them?

We have been working with this plugin for several month now. Added a lot of improvements that fit our needs.

You can always look at the code and improve it.

I agree this is a very cool plug-in but not being able to delete is a real pain. I ended up having to go into the database and delete from the wp_cvg_gallery table. Luckily, the tables are rather easy to navigate. Going to see if i can find the problem — don’t know if I can find it, though.

Yes, and you can go to contents > uploads > cool gallery and modify the xml file and change the title too. And you can dig into the plugin code to do great things as well, but I think most people turn to plugins to get things done easier, not to add to their to do list.

Still and all, I appreciate the work that Praveen put in to develop this plugin.

I cannot remove videos

I am having the same problem. Only way I have been able to delete a video from a gallery is to delete the corresponding record from the wp_cvg_videos table.

Is that the only option at present?

I am having the same problem, can’t delete individual videos or galleries, is there a fix for this yet?

Please put exact steps and dev environment details.

I deleted the video manually (ftp mode). Now I have to delete the entry with phpmyadmin, as the video is not there anymore but it’s still in the database.

Is there any way that if it finds out that the video is not in his folder after the automatic scan, it eliminates it from the DB?

The delete video button works! ?? update it to 1.7 that it’s fixed
