• Hi, here’s a weird one.

When I enable “Cookies for Comments” I notice a weird page “flash” when pages load in Safari. It’s almost like a camera shutter flash or a blinking eye. Eventually, the page loads. But, the effect is quite disconcerting.

The CSS file that Cookies for Comments loads looks like this:

I get the problem whether I am logged into WP or now.

However, if I am logged in with WP Super Cache enabled, the CSS file that Cookies for Comments loads looks like this:

/* Page generated by Cookies for Comments at https://ocaoimh.ie/cookies-for-comments/ */
<!-- WP Super Cache did not cache this page because you are logged in and "Don't cache pages for logged in users" is enabled. -->

I’ll bet those comments are not valid. However, like I said, I see this problem in Safari whether or not I am logged in.

    Any ideas? Thanks.
I wonder if this is causing it?

When I said “I’ll bet those comments are not valid. ”

I meant to HTML-style comments in the CSS.
