  • Hi,

It looks like you may be using the shortcode incorrectly, are you using it inside the “description” field of a cookie law info post type? What you need to do is:

    – Add new cookie types in the Cookie Law Info menu on the dashboard (Cookie Law Info / Add New)
    – Give it a title e.g. “Google Analytics”
    – Give it a description e.g. “We use Google Analytics to improve your website experience… etc” but don’t add a shortcode here.
    – Add the duration e.g. “1 year”
    – Add the cookie type e.g. “Persistent”

When you’ve added a few cookie types, in your Privacy & Cookie Policy page just add the shortcode as follows:

    [cookie_audit]

    See https://www.cookielawinfo.com/privacy-and-cookie-policy/

    Hope that helps!

That’s great. Got it working. I just wasn’t using it right.
    Many thanks Greg

You’re welcome, glad you got it sorted ??

ooh i thought it gave us a list of cookies we have on site.

hmm so i am lost on how to find all the cookies it uses

Hi, no the plugin doesn’t do that. I’ve written an article on https://www.cookielawinfo.com/ with instructions on how to perform a (simple) cookie audit. Hope that helps.
